Guildhall is seeking an MEP Engineer to coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, drainage and fire-protection works for underground station construction on a live rail project in Dubai. The role requires hands-on site coordination and the ability to bridge Chinese and international project teams.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of MEP experience, a related engineering degree, and fluency in Mandarin and English, with hands-on site experience and UAE market exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant MEP experience, ideally underground station or metro/rail projects.
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Fluent Mandarin Chinese and English, spoken and written technical level.
• Hands-on site coordination experience, not purely design-office based.
• Main contractor project experience is preferred.
• UAE or GCC market exposure is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP works for underground station construction on a live rail project.

Guildhall is running the search for a large multinational contractor delivering rail metro and marine infrastructure for government and state-owned clients across multiple continents. This MEP Engineer will own day-to-day mechanical electrical plumbing and fire-protection coordination on underground station works resolving clashes and reviewing technical submissions on site. The hire is part of an active mobilisation for a major rail project in Dubai with underground station delivery on the critical path. It s a rare site seat combining hands-on MEP coordination with a bridging role between Chinese and international project teams.
