Job summary

LeadingEdge HR Solutions is seeking an experienced MEP Site Engineer (Mechanical) to oversee mechanical works on high-rise projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of site execution experience and strong knowledge of plumbing, drainage, water supply and firefighting systems.

You will coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, ensure drawings and specifications compliance, monitor safety and quality, and support testing, commissioning and handover while adhering to UAE

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with site execution in mechanical works.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience in high-rise building projects and UAE construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute all mechanical MEP site activities.
• Coordinate daily site operations with consultants, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure installations comply with approved drawings, project specs, and standards.
• Monitor site progress, quality and safety to ensure timely execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical issues during construction.
• Plan material requirements, manpower allocation, and site resources.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and maintain site documentation.
• Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations and health & safety requirements.
• Liaise with project management to achieve milestones.
