Job summary

Tanqeeb in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Diagnostic Sonographer with a Radiography background to perform ultrasound examinations in acute care settings. You will acquire high-quality images, compare with prior studies, and provide preliminary reports to radiologists, while following department protocols and safety guidelines.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, engage in ongoing education, and maintain equipment and patient records in the Hospital Information System and PACS.

Qualifications

• BSc in Radiography or a Diploma in Radiography (NLT 3-year syllabus).
• Graduate from accredited Radiography program (NLT 2-year syllabus) and ARDMS/ equivalent.
• Current National License.
• NLT 2 years post-graduate ultrasound experience in an acute care hospital.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Sonography procedures following departmental policies and protocols.
• Acquire additional images to aid diagnosis.
• Evaluate image quality and advise staff as needed.
• Provide preliminary reports to radiologists.
• Safely operate ultrasound equipment and maintain hygiene.
• Enter radiological images into the Hospital PACS.
• Maintain patient records and OSH standards.
