Job summary

Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi seeks an ultrasound professional to perform diagnostic sonography, analyze outputs, and report to supervision. You will work with patients, recording images of blood flow, organs, and fetal development using advanced imaging tools.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor s or Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound or Sonography, UAE licensure, and at least two years post-graduate experience in an acute care hospital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound or Sonography (minimum three (3) years course duration)
• Associate Degree in Sonography (minimum two (2) years course duration)
• Registration/certification or accreditation as radiographer/Sonographer
• Bachelor s degree or Diploma from an accredited institution in Radiography /Radiology
• NLT 2 years post-graduate experience in an acute care hospital

Responsibilities

• Maintains sufficient inventory of material supplies and equipment
• Facilitates anatomy and pathology in cross-sectional imaging to optimize scan protocols
• Maintains safe and competent use of all radiology equipment and reports faults
• Operates advanced software on specialist radiological equipment
• Maintains a clean and tidy working environment and restocks supplies

Education

Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound or Sonography

Associate Degree in Sonography

Registration/certification as radiographer/Sonographer

Bachelor's degree in Radiography/Radiology
