Job summary

TalentsTide is seeking an Ultrasonographer in Dubai, UAE to join a diagnostic imaging department. You will perform ultrasound examinations independently, provide provisional findings, and support patient care throughout each scan.

The role requires a Radiology Technologist license, a Diagnostic Ultrasound certificate or diploma, and 2 years of sonography experience. English communication is essential, with Arabic a plus, and you may participate in on-call or weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiography or Medical Imaging as a base requirement.
• Diagnostic Ultrasound certificate or diploma (minimum 12 months) specified.
• License as Radiology Technologist and a valid BLS certificate required.
• 2 years of Sonography experience requested.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations per established imaging protocols and best-practice standards.
• Verify patient identity, review clinical history, and confirm informed consent before every exam.
• Perform routine exams independently, and assist senior sonographers or radiologists on complex or interventional cases.
• Recognize normal and abnormal findings, and elevate uncertain results promptly.
• Document findings clearly and archive images in RIS/PACS and the EMR.
• Manage your caseload by clinical urgency, keeping patient care front and center.
• Explain procedures to patients and maintain their comfort, dignity, and confidentiality throughout.
• Run daily equipment checks, support QA, and report faults promptly.
• Support training and supervision of students or trainees.
• Take part in on-call, extended-hours, or weekend rotations as needed.

We're hiring an Ultrasonographer to join a Dubai-based Diagnostic/Medical Imaging department. You'll perform routine ultrasound examinations independently, deliver accurate provisional findings, and be a steady, reassuring presence for patients through every scan.

What you'll do

• Perform ultrasound examinations per established imaging protocols and best-practice standards

What you'll bring
