Responsibilities

• Explaining sonographic procedures to patients and answering questions.
• Preparing patients by applying gel and positioning on the table.
• Ensuring clear images for diagnostic purposes and adjusting equipment.
• Selecting settings and adjusting patient positions as needed.
• Monitoring and caring for patients during procedures for safety and comfort.
• Presenting the sonograms and preliminary findings to the physicians.
• Completing documentation and maintaining patient histories and records.
• Assisting physicians during invasive procedures.
• Maintaining and cleaning sonographic equipment.
• Performing medical procedures such as taking vital signs and emergency care when needed.
