Role Overview
Full‑time educational leadership position focused on coordinating and enhancing Social Studies and Moral Education programmes across relevant grade levels in Dubai schools. The coordinator will oversee curriculum planning, delivery, assessment, teacher support, and programme evaluation, ensuring alignment with UAE Ministry of Education, KHDA regulations, and school standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of the UAE Social Studies and Moral Education curriculum.
- Ensure curriculum implementation aligns with UAE Ministry of Education, KHDA, and school academic requirements.
- Support teachers in preparing engaging, interactive, and culturally relevant lessons.
- Guide teachers in applying effective teaching strategies, differentiated instruction, and student‑centered learning approaches.
- Monitor student progress and provide academic guidance, intervention support, and improvement recommendations where required.
- Review lesson plans, learning resources, assessments, and classroom activities to ensure curriculum quality and relevance.
- Collaborate with school leadership to enhance curriculum standards, programme effectiveness, and student learning outcomes.
- Promote values of respect, tolerance, responsibility, citizenship, national identity, inclusion, and cultural awareness.
- Support teachers in integrating UAE heritage, moral values, community awareness, and global citizenship into classroom learning.
- Maintain curriculum records, assessment data, progress reports, planning documents, and coordination files.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional guidance to teachers delivering SST and Moral Education.
- Support inspection readiness by ensuring accurate documentation, curriculum alignment, and evidence of student progress.
- Communicate professionally with teachers, students, parents, and school leadership when required.
- Stay updated with UAE education requirements, Moral Education framework updates, KHDA expectations, and relevant curriculum developments.
- Contribute to assemblies, school initiatives, cultural programmes, awareness activities, and events that promote moral and social values.
Ideal Profile
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Studies, Moral Education, or a related field.
- Minimum 3‑5 years of teaching experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership, coordination, subject lead, or similar academic role.
- Strong knowledge of UAE Social Studies and Moral Education framework.
- Good understanding of UAE Ministry of Education and KHDA requirements for Moral Education.
- Excellent command of Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to support teachers in curriculum delivery, lesson planning, assessment, and student progress monitoring.
- Experience in curriculum coordination, academic planning, teacher guidance, and programme evaluation.
- Ability to inspire teachers and students while promoting moral, cultural, and national values.
- Professional, collaborative, and committed to academic quality and student development.
- UAE school experience is strongly preferred.
