The position requires an experienced educator who can coordinate Moral, Social and Cultural Studies and Humanities within a British curriculum school. The selected coordinator will support consistent curriculum planning, effective classroom delivery, student assessment, teacher development, and alignment with relevant KHDA expectations.
The MSC and Humanities Coordinator will provide academic direction across subjects that help students understand society, culture, identity, geography, history, citizenship, and the UAE context. The role will establish a coherent learning journey while supporting teachers in delivering engaging and well-structured lessons. Strong coordination will improve consistency across year groups, strengthen academic evidence, and ensure that curriculum objectives are reflected in daily teaching and student outcomes.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor 's or Master 's degree in Humanities or a closely related subject. A minimum of 1 year of UAE experience in a similar position within a British curriculum school is required. Candidates should understand curriculum coordination, classroom expectations, and academic quality practices. Excellent English communication and knowledge of the KHDA framework will be preferred. Applicants must currently be physically present in the United Arab Emirates. Candidates holding their own valid UAE visa or a spouse-sponsored visa will receive preference.
