HSBC in the United Arab Emirates seeks an Associate to support the Regulatory Affairs function across the UAE, helping ensure regulatory requirements are understood, communicated, and addressed with a clear no-surprises approach in regulator relationships.

You will manage engagements with UAE regulators, prepare briefing notes and materials for senior management, and maintain accurate records of actions and emerging themes, while monitoring regulatory developments and coordinating hand-offs to

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree required; attestations/equivalency for UAE degrees.
• 2–5 years' experience in risk, compliance or regulatory affairs.
• Experience with regulators and understanding of regulators' agendas and approaches.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Degree in Business Admin, Finance or Law; related certifications are considered.

Mansioni

• Support relationships and engagement with UAE regulators (DFSA, Central Bank of the UAE, SCA, FSRA) and other authorities.
• Assist with preparation, coordination and follow-up of regulatory meetings, reviews, inspections and information requests.
• Prepare briefing notes, meeting materials, reports and management information for senior management and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of regulatory engagements, actions, deliverables, correspondence and themes.
• Monitor proposed regulatory changes and communicate updates to stakeholders across the Bank.
• Support assessment of regulatory changes and hand-offs of implementation to risk and business teams.
• Produce compliance reports, MI packs, newsletters and related communications.
• Maintain internal control standards and assist in identifying and resolving audit/regulatory findings.
