HSBC in Dubai seeks a Regulatory Affairs professional to support engagement with UAE regulators and manage regulatory developments across the UAE. You will help ensure regulatory requirements are understood, communicated and addressed effectively, promoting a no-surprises approach in the bank's relationships.

The role requires 2–5 years in risk, compliance or regulatory affairs, strong stakeholder management, and fluency in English and Arabic.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2–5 years’ experience in risk, compliance or regulatory affairs within financial services.
• Experience with engaging senior management and regulators is preferred.
• Knowledge of UAE regulators and regulatory approaches.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent written and verbal English and Arabic is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Support relationships and engagement with UAE regulators such as DFSA, Central Bank, SCA, FSRA and others.
• Prepare and coordinate regulatory meetings, reviews, inspections, and information requests.
• Create briefing notes, materials and management reports for senior leadership.
• Maintain records of regulatory engagements and key themes.
• Monitor regulatory developments and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Assist with assessment of regulatory changes and hand-off of implementation to risk/biz teams.
• Produce compliance reports and newsletters related to regulatory affairs.
• Maintain internal control standards and support resolution of audit findings.
