Job summary

The role requires 2–5 years in risk or regulatory affairs, strong stakeholder management, and fluency in English and Arabic. A work permit and UAE work experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; attestations/equivalency for degrees obtained outside UAE.
• 2–5 years’ experience in risk, compliance or regulatory affairs within financial services.
• Experience with diverse stakeholders including senior management and regulators.
• Knowledge of UAE regulators, their agendas and regulatory approaches.
• Strong understanding of compliance risks and industry best practice.
• Experience in stakeholder management, project coordination and process improvement.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent written and verbal English and Arabic are mandatory.
• Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support management of relationships and engagement with UAE regulators (DFSA, Central Bank, SCA, FSRA).
• Assist with preparation, coordination and follow-up of regulatory meetings and information requests.
• Prepare briefing notes, materials, reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Maintain records of regulatory engagements and key themes.
• Monitor regulatory developments and communicate updates to stakeholders across the Bank.
• Assist in assessment of regulatory changes and hand-offs to risk/business teams.
• Produce compliance reports and other regulatory communications.
• Maintain internal control standards and escalate operational risks and findings.
