Job summary

Almira in the UAE seeks a proficient Legal & Compliance Advisor to provide authoritative guidance to management. The role ensures adherence to UAE laws, real estate regulations, and regulatory requirements, while drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts and legal documents.

You will monitor regulatory changes, identify risks, and advise across real estate, corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory matters.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant legal/compliance advisory experience.
• Experience in UAE real estate, brokerage, or corporate sectors preferred.
• Strong knowledge of UAE laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements.
• Practical experience in contract review, compliance monitoring, and risk management.
• High standards of professionalism, confidentiality and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide authoritative legal and compliance advice to management to keep decisions legally sound.
• Ensure full adherence to UAE laws, real estate regulations, and regulatory requirements.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts and legal docs.
• Monitor regulatory developments and implement required changes promptly.
• Identify and mitigate legal, regulatory, and contractual risks.
• Advise on real estate, brokerage, corporate, commercial, employment, and regulatory matters.
• Manage legal notices, disputes, and compliance matters, coordinating with external counsel when needed.
• Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies as required.
• Review and strengthen company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of legal and compliance matters.
• Conduct compliance reviews and support internal investigations and risk assessments.
• Safeguard the company’s legal interests and ensure integrity and confidentiality.
