Confidential Company is seeking a Legal Compliance Officer with strong UAE real estate background to lead corporate legal matters, document management, and regulatory compliance. The role requires Arabic and English fluency, and 2–3 years in a similar position.

Responsibilities include maintaining legal registers, handling licenses/UBO requirements, and implementing KYC due diligence and ABAC training across the business. A proactive, commercially-minded lawyer is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• LLB from a common law jurisdiction.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal position.
• Experience in real estate companies/agencies and compliance/due diligence/corporate law.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and manage corporate legal documents (Shareholders Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, Intercompany Agreements, Articles/Memorandums of Association, Powers of Attorney, Board and AGM Minutes).
• Provide high-standard legal document management and maintain corporate registers.
• Support licensing renewals and regulatory requirements (licenses, UBO, free zones).
• Offer general legal support and advisory to mitigate corporate risk and disputes.
• Stay updated on UAE laws and other jurisdictions; advise on amendments and new regulations.
• Manage renewals/ expiries of documents.
• Develop and implement KYC and due diligence procedures across the business.
• Train staff on Anti-Bribery and Corruption laws.
• Monitor sanctions lists and ABAC laws in UAE and other jurisdictions.
• Review policies and procedures for legal developments and governance.
