Job summary

YOSH in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager (Emirati) to oversee planning, implementation and day-to-day management of UAE Pavilion operations at World Expos. You will coordinate staffing, logistics and multiple workstreams to ensure seamless visitor experiences and support services throughout the pavilion lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Events Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in government-related entities, exhibitions, global events or large-scale public operations.
• Experience with international events, expos or high-profile projects is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement operational plans, procedures and service models across pavilions.
• Coordinate with multiple vendors and contracts; monitor daily operations and resolve issues.
• Contribute to pavilion readiness across visitor services, facilities, security and logistics.
• Oversee onboarding, training and performance support for operational staff.
• Ensure team preparedness through training plans and operational briefings.
• Lead procurement activities and ensure compliance with safety, legal and quality standards.
• Oversee VIP visit management and protocol coordination with partners and event teams.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and expense tracking; review financial summaries and reporting.
• Prepare progress updates, dashboards and management reports; contribute to post-event reviews and knowledge transfer.
