Job summary

Tanqeeb in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a proactive Sales Executive for the Trading Division. You will develop new customers, visit sites, and promote building materials across the UAE, identifying needs and recommending suitable products.

You will generate enquiries, prepare quotations, and manage orders to closure while negotiating prices and terms. Strong relationships and travel across the UAE are required to succeed.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of sales experience in the UAE, preferably in building materials or related trading.
• Proven ability to develop new customers and generate sales independently.
• Existing relationships with contractors, interior companies, traders, retailers, or other commercial customers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and business opportunities for the Trading Division.
• Visit potential and existing customers across the UAE.
• Promote and sell building materials and related trading products.
• Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable products.
• Generate enquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up until orders are closed.
• Negotiate prices and commercial terms within company guidelines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and generate repeat business.
• Follow up on leads, quotations, pending orders, and customer requirements.
• Monitor market activity, customer demand, and competitor pricing.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve agreed sales targets.
• Coordinate with management, purchasing, and accounts to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
