Job summary

Q-Sourcing Servtec is recruiting for a Maintenance & Technical Operations role in Dubai. The selected candidate will handle maintenance of moulds/tools in a plastics production setting and support preventive, predictive, and breakdown activities.

Applicants should have a Diploma/Industrial Trade Certificate with at least 2 years of experience in a process plant, be able to read manuals/drawings, and possess basic knowledge of molding processes. Proficiency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Industrial Trade Certificate with at least 2 years of experience in any process plant.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, drawings, etc.
• Knowledge and experience in molding process and extruder a plus.
• Good physical condition.
• Can communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Carries out preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Attends to complaints raised by Operations – fault finding and rectification.
• Performs preventive maintenance in moulds, dies & tools as per Schedule.
• Installs and sets up tools and mould machines based on production requirements.
• Ensures proper alignment and secure attachment of mould/tools to the machine.

Job Summary:

Moulds/Toolsused in the production of plastic fittings and pipes are properly installed inthe Machine and Carries out planned and preventive maintenance activities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintenance& Technical Operations

• Carriesout preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Attendsto complaints raised by Operations – fault finding and rectification of thesame.
• Performingpreventive maintenance operations in moulds, dies & tools as per Schedule.
• Installand set up tools and mould machines based on production requirements.
• Ensureproper alignment and secure attachment of the mould/Tool to the machine.

Compliance& Documentation

• Ensuresthe given checklist points in the monitoring sheet are correct.
• Ensuresproper procedures are followed with respect to maintaining log/activitiesbooks, material received from stores, material usage, etc.
• Ensuresall the specified points in the monitoring sheets are checked.
• Strictlyfollows standard operations procedures and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensuresappropriate usage and storage of material and equipment in hand.
• Helpsin identifying safety and other potential hazards so that appropriate steps canbe taken to overcome the same.
