Role Context

This role supports manufacturing operations by evaluating technical requirements, developing machining processes, and improving production efficiency. It plays a key role in RFQ support, feasibility analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives within precision engineering environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Review customer drawings, specifications, and BOMs to assess manufacturing requirements
• Prepare machining cycle‑time estimations for RFQ submissions
• Develop markup drawings and subcontracting scopes where required
• Evaluate in‑house machining feasibility including deep‑hole and gun drilling processes
• Provide technical guidance to sales, quality, and supply chain teams
• Liaise with stakeholders to clarify requirements and propose engineering solutions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical manufacturing issues
• Prepare engineering documentation including process routing and reports
• Support HSE initiatives and ensure compliance with safety standards
