Job summary

Q-Sourcing Servtec is seeking a competent PVC Machine Operator in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai). The role involves operating and setting up extrusion machines, loading molds, and ensuring production targets are met according to job orders.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience in plastic or pipe manufacturing and knowledge of extrusion or moulding processes. Good English writing skills and physical fitness are required for safe and efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of production operations experience in plastic or pipe manufacturing.
• Knowledge/experience in extrusion and/or moulding is a plus.
• English writing skills are required.
• Good physical condition is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up machines according to product specs and work orders.
• Install tools and molds, ensuring proper alignment and configuration.
• Adjust machine settings to achieve target quality and production targets.
• Monitor material supply and maintain cleanliness of work area.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and use PPE as required.
• Record production data, machine settings, and any issues for reporting.
• Coordinate with maintenance to resolve technical problems promptly.

Job Summary:

Toperform and carry out specific tasks assigned or processed and ensure todelivery of targets are met according to production requirements or workorders.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate/Prepare and set up the machine according to the specifications of the productto be manufactured.
• Installthe Tool/ mould into the machine, ensuring proper alignment and configuration.
• Adjustmachine settings, and processing, to achieve the desired product quality.
• Monitorand maintain an adequate supply of raw materials for continuous operation.
• Handleand store materials properly to prevent contamination or defects.
• Monitorthe production process to ensure the products meet quality standards.
• Performvisual inspections of products for defects or abnormalities.
• Adjustmachine settings as needed to correct defects and maintain product consistency.
• Identifyand troubleshoot issues that may arise during the process,
• Collaboratewith maintenance personnel to address and resolve technical problems promptly.
• Maintainaccurate records of production output, machine settings, and any adjustmentsmade during the manufacturing process.
• Documentany issues, defects, or machine downtime for reporting and analysis.

• InformsSupervisor of any malfunction in the machine; coordinates with Technicians toresolve the issue; keeps Supervisor informed of the progress.
• Recordsscrap or non-conforming products on a control sheet and stores it appropriatelyfor review. 22. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of equipment, and workarea and keeping it safe.
• Observeand comply with standard operation procedures and HSE guidelines.
• Performother responsibilities as assigned by the line manager.

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
