Confidential Company in Dubai is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide essential technical and documentation support to the Sales & Marketing team. This role focuses on preparing accurate technical submittals and quotations for firefighting pump systems, ensuring all deliverables meet project specifications and international standards.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Protection Engineering, along with 2–5 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and technical writing skills are essential for this position.
The Technical Support Engineer will provide technical and documentation support to the Sales & Marketing team. The role focuses on preparing accurate technical submittals, data sheets, pre‑qualification documents, and quotations for firefighting pump systems and gas suppression systems. This position bridges engineering and sales by ensuring all deliverables meet project specifications, client requirements, and relevant international standards.
Prepare and compile technical submittals for firefighting and gas suppression systems in line with project specifications and consultant requirements. Develop product data sheets, compliance statements, and supporting documentation for client approval. Maintain up‑to‑date templates and standard documentation aligned with product and regional standards.
Review client inquiries, BOQs, and specifications to prepare accurate technical and commercial offers. Coordinate with internal teams to gather technical and pricing data. Ensure quotations are compliant, technically sound, and aligned with project scope.
Prepare company pre‑qualification and vendor registration documents for consultants, contractors, and authorities. Maintain current company profiles, product certificates, and project references.
Support sales engineers with technical clarifications, compliance matrices, and submittal follow‑ups. Liaise with design, production, and factory teams for drawings, data sheets, and configurations. Assist marketing in developing technical content for brochures, presentations, and online materials.
Maintain organized records of submittals, quotations, and related documentation. Track revisions and approvals to ensure document control. Recommend process improvements for faster and more accurate proposal turnaround.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Protection Engineering. 2–5 years of experience in technical support, estimation, or design for fire protection systems (NFPA-based). Strong knowledge of firefighting pump packages (diesel/electric/jockey), controllers, and clean agent systems (HFC227ea, FK5112, Inert). Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and Adobe PDF tools. Solid understanding of NFPA, UL/FM, and LPCB standards. Excellent documentation and technical writing skills. High attention to detail and strong time management.
