Job summary

AkzoNobel in Abu Dhabi seeks a Graduate-level engineer to drive technical sales for Chartek, Interchar and Interkote ranges. You will manage key accounts, respond to technical queries, and deliver engineering presentations to promote product leadership.

Role involves close collaboration with internal teams, CRM-driven opportunity tracking, and contributing to R&D and market-facing strategies. UAE-based with regional exposure and cross-country collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate level or equivalent with engineering background in civil/mechanical/structural design.
• Extensive experience in technical sales or construction to Oil & Gas and Infra markets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular contacts with key stakeholders in the Middle East (NOC/EPC/Fabricator/Applicator).
• Answer technical queries from Safety, Structural Engineering and Loss Prevention teams.
• Deliver technical presentations to engineers to promote PFP products.
• Collaborate with internal Account Managers to progress wet paint and PFP sales on large projects.
• Understand project specifics to tailor short- and medium-term tactics.
• Coordinate with Fire Technical and Marketing groups to respond to market needs.
• Use CRM to manage sales opportunities and data.
• Participate in R&D and provide input to product development and testing.
