MUTE : acoustics in Dubai seeks a designer, architect, or engineer who loves sound. You’ll own projects from enquiry to delivery—reading drawings and recommending the right acoustic solution within design budgets.
You’ll educate clients on how sound behaves in spaces, present options clearly, and coordinate across design, technical, and production teams for homes, offices, hospitality, and auditoriums.
Salary: AED 5000-7000 / month (based on experience)
At MUTE, we design and deliver premium acoustic solutions that improve how spaces sound, feel, and perform. Working alongside architects, designers, and businesses, we create environments built for calm, clarity, and focus. Our work is trusted by leading organisations including Unilever, Mitsubishi Corporation, Qatar Airways, and American Express — with over 1,000 spaces sound-treated to date.
This is a role for a designer, architect, or engineer who's drawn to sound and wants to work at the point where technical understanding, design, and sales meet. You'll own projects from first enquiry to final delivery — reading drawings, assessing spaces, and recommending the right acoustic solution — but just as importantly, you'll be the person who helps clients truly understand their options: how sound behaves in a space, what can be improved, and how to get there within their design vision and budget.
Our projects span everything from private residences to offices, hospitality, and auditoriums — each with very different acoustic challenges. You'll learn a lot, fast, and we want someone hungry to keep learning: about acoustics, materials, and how great spaces are designed to sound.
Own projects end-to-end, from enquiry through to delivery.
Assess spaces, drawings, and technical requirements across residential, commercial, hospitality, and auditorium projects.
Educate clients on how sound works in their space and the options available to improve it.
Recommend the right acoustic products and solutions for each space and design intent.
Prepare quotations and technical proposals.
Coordinate with Design, Technical, and Production teams.
Conduct site visits and client meetings.
Negotiate and close deals within approved commercial terms.
Follow up on quotations, approvals, and payments.
Maintain lead and project updates in the CRM/tracker.
A background in interior design, architecture, or engineering (degree preferred).
A genuine interest in sound and acoustics — you don't need to be an expert yet, but you should want to become one.
An interest in sales and client relationships; comfortable presenting, advising, and closing.
Able to read and interpret drawings.
A strong communicator who can explain technical ideas simply and make clients feel confident in their choices.
Eager to learn continuously and grow with the role.
UAE experience and a valid UAE driving licence preferred.
