Acoustic Engineer

Job summary

FSK & Partners is seeking an experienced acoustics professional to lead design and analysis for hospitality, residential and commercial projects in the UAE. You will model room acoustics, assess sound insulation and noise control, and prepare technical outputs for architects and contractors.

You will review drawings, perform site measurements, and coordinate with design teams to integrate acoustic requirements, staying aligned with UAE and GCC standards. Prior consultancy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Acoustics, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in acoustic consulting or building acoustics, preferably within the UAE or GCC.
• Proficient in INSUL software for sound insulation modeling.
• Familiarity with acoustic simulation and modeling tools such as ODEON, EASE, or CATT-Acoustic.
• Strong understanding of building codes and acoustic standards (ISO, ASTM, local UAE regulations).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills to liaise with clients, architects, and internal teams.
• Prior consultancy experience is preferred.
