Job summary

MTG Acoustics in Dubai is looking for a skilled Site Engineer to supervise installation activities for acoustic systems. The role involves coordinating with consultants and contractors, reviewing technical drawings, and ensuring project milestones are met while adhering to safety requirements.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, possess 3–5 years of UAE site engineering experience, and be proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of UAE site engineering experience.
• Experience in interior fit-out, acoustic works, drywall, ceilings, or MEP is preferred.
• UAE driving license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise site installation activities for acoustic systems.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and clients.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings and project specifications.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily and weekly progress reports.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate technical issues.
• Raise and close RFIs, MIRs, WIRs and IRs.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and main contractors.
• Verify installed quantities and assist QS with measurements.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics.
• Prepare snag lists and ensure timely close‑out of defects.
