Job summary

ABB is seeking an experienced OT cybersecurity leader for the IMEA region. You will act as the technical authority, shaping the cybersecurity portfolio, engaging with customers, guiding solution design, and supporting end-to-end delivery across Energy, Water, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Mining and Process Industries.

Qualifications

• Immersed in IEC 62443 and the cybersecurity market.
• 8–12 years of cyber security experience in industrial automation, OT cybersecurity, digital solutions, or related tech.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA) and OT environments.
• Experience supporting regional or multi-country business development activities.
• Strong communication, presentation and customer engagement skills.
• Ability to work across cultures and multiple IMEA markets.
• Valid UAE driving license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the IMEA technical authority for ABB OT Cybersecurity solutions.
• Contribute to roadmap and portfolio by suggesting features and variants.
• Lead end-to-end technical sales support, identifying needs and articulating digital solutions.
• Orchestrate the full customer lifecycle from opportunity qualification to deployment and post-go-live support.
• Drive development of digital solutions and ensure client requirements are met.
• Develop qualified opportunity pipelines across Energy, Water, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Mining and Process Industries.

Your role:

Lead the technical development, positioning, qualification, solution design, and execution support of ABB's OT Cybersecurity portfolio across the IMEA region. Act as the primary technical authority supporting cybersecurity growth initiatives, customer engagements, opportunity development, and delivery governance while working closely with sales, local divisions, OPCs, and global product teams.

The role is accountable for supporting a cybersecurity business portfolio with an annual commercial target of Multi Million USD and driving pipeline development, opportunity conversion, solution consulting, and technical customer engagement across the region.

This role is contributing to the {Digital} in automation business {IMEA}.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Act as the IMEA technical authority for ABB OT Cybersecurity solution.
• Contributing to the software product roadmap and portfolio through suggesting new features, functionality, and variants.
• Managing the end-to-end technical sales support to identify the customer’s needs and develop, demonstrate, and articulate the features of the digital solution and their ability to meet the needs.
• Orchestrating all stages of the end-to-end customer lifecycle including digital opportunity identification and qualification, discovery and value engineering, solution blueprinting, point of contact/pilot, solution deployment, and post go-live operations/support.
• Driving consistent development of digital solutions and processes and ensuring client requirements / needs are met in a timely manner.
• Developing qualified opportunity pipelines across Energy, Water, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Mining and Process Industries.

Qualifications For The Role

• You are immersed in working with IEC 62443 and the cyber security market
• Minimum 8-12 years of experience of cyber security in industrial automation, OT cybersecurity, digital solutions or related industrial technologies is a Must-have.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems, DCS, PLC, SCADA and OT environments.
• Experience supporting regional or multi-country business development activities.
• Strong communication, presentation and customer engagement skills.
• Ability to work across cultures and multiple IMEA markets.
• You hold current valid Driving licenses in UAE.
