Overview

We are hiring a Technical Engineer / Operations Engineer to support our Technical Operations Manager in day-to-day project and maintenance activities across various sites in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineer who can handle assigned tasks independently, supervise teams on-site, and ensure timely delivery of works. You will play a critical role in executing site operations, managing subcontractors, liaising with clients, and delivering quality work across MEP, fit-out, and ad-hoc projects. This position is ideal for someone who is technically strong, committed, and looking to grow into a senior operations role.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Technical Operations Manager in execution and tracking of projects
• Handle day-to-day site supervision, team coordination, and work progress reporting
• Ensure quality control, snag closure, and timely handover of minor projects
• Assist in preparing project reports, BOQ reviews, and vendor coordination
• Attend client meetings, provide updates, and resolve operational challenges
• Manage subcontractors and technicians to meet performance KPIs
• Review technical drawings, coordinate material deliveries, and conduct inspections
• Maintain HSE standards and ensure site documentation is complete

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in UAE in technical operations, project execution, or facility management
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, civil works, and fit-out execution
• Ability to manage minor to mid-size technical projects independently with minimal supervision
• Hands-on knowledge of snagging, site supervision, vendor coordination, and client updates
• Prior experience in residential, commercial, or retail portfolios is an advantage
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
• Proficient in MS Office, basic AutoCAD/technical drawings, and project tracking tools
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory
• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering is preferred
