Job summary

Horus Fitout seeks a senior project lead to drive design coordination and technical leadership for mall fit-out projects in Dubai. You will oversee multi-disciplinary coordination, ensure approvals from Civil Defense and Municipality, and manage cost reporting and tender support.

Ideal candidates bring 7–10+ years of UAE fit-out experience, strong BIM/V DC tools proficiency, and a proven ability to lead technical offices while maintaining documentation and QA/QC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Civil / Architectural / MEP Engineering or equivalent.
• Must have UAE fit-out/interior contracting experience and lead roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, shop-drawing and technical coordination across Architectural, MEP, structural and joinery disciplines.
• Manage mall/developer and authority approvals: Civil Defense, Municipality, permits, NOCs and occupancy certificates.
• Prepare and review BOQs, take-offs and support tendering, variations and cost reporting.
• Source and manage subcontractors/suppliers; technical comparisons, LPOs, site coordination.
• Handle material submittals, sample boards, and long-lead/imported procurement.
• Develop and track project program, milestones and progress (S-curve reporting).
• Oversee QA/QC, snagging and DLP close-out to ensure works meet approved specs.
• Act as primary technical point of contact for tenants, mall management and consultants.
• Maintain full project documentation, handover dossiers and closeout records.
• Lead and mentor the technical office team, reporting risks/progress to management.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Architectural / MEP Engineering or equivalent.
• 7–10+ years’ fit-out / interior contracting experience in the UAE, with a minimum of 3 years in a technical-office or lead role.
• Retail and F&B mall fit-out experience strongly preferred.
• Proven delivery under MAF / Aldar and similar developer frameworks and UAE authority approvals (Civil Defence, Municipality).
• Oman (PACDA / OCCI) exposure an advantage.
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred.
• Strong command of AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of Revit / BIM, MS Project or Primavera P6, MS Office and document-control systems.
• Sound knowledge of UAE fit-out codes, Civil Defence and municipality requirements, and mall RDD processes.
• BOQ / estimation and quantity take-off proficiency with contractual and commercial awareness.
• Excellent coordination, planning and problem-solving skills; able to run multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong English communication (Arabic an advantage).
