Job summary

ESG Emirates Stallions Group P.J.S.C. seeks a Technical Coordinator for high-end interior fit-out projects in the UAE. You will manage shop drawings, joinery coordination, and technical submittals while supporting site teams, procurement, and subcontractors.

Strong drawing-reading skills and AutoCAD proficiency are essential. Role requires 5+ years UAE experience in interior fit-out, with a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Architecture/Interior Design.

Job description

Serve as the technical point of contact for all interior fit-out and joinery elements in a project Coordinate and manage shop drawings material approvals and technical submittals Ensure all joinery and fit-out work are aligned with project specifications scope of work drawings and client expectations Provide technical support to site teams production facilities procurement and subcontractors Liaise with consultants designers and clients on all technical design issues and queries Preparation of the Shop Drawings and Materials LOG covering the full scope of works of the project Review and coordinate all joinery and fit-out shop drawings ensuring accuracy and adherence to design intent Prepare and manage technical submittals including materials samples and mock-ups for consultant client approval Ensure timely submission and approval of drawings and documents to meet the project schedule Translate design concepts into practical manufacturable and buildable solutions Coordinate technical interfaces between Interior fit-out joinery civil works MEP and other trades Raise RFIs Requests for Information to clarify design discrepancies or conflicts in drawings Attend design coordination meetings site inspections and technical reviews with stakeholders Monitor production progress and resolve technical queries related to materials construction and finishes Coordinate with procurement for material selection lead times and availability Provide on-site technical support during installation of fit-out and joinery works Verify compliance of on-site execution with approved shop drawings and specifications Attend inspections and ensure quality control throughout installation phases Detail-oriented and highly organized with a focus on quality control and compliance Ensure all works comply with local regulations building codes and project specifications Participate in quality checks snagging and handover inspections.

• 5 + Years of UAE Experience as a Technical Coordinator in high-end interior fit-out projects.
• Strong understanding of joinery and fit-out systems, including materials (e.g. MDF, veneers, laminates, hardwood, etc.), finishes, fixings, and hardware.
• Knowledge of interior construction methods, detailing, and industry best practices.
• Thorough knowledge of shop drawing production and approval workflows.
• Knowledge of project lifecycle, from design development through to installation and handover.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting and coordination.
• Knowledge of project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, Procore, Aconex) is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, ID, MEP, and structural drawings for coordination.
• Ability to prepare and manage RFIs, technical submittals, and material/sample approvals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and technical packages across different stages of the project.
• Skills in tracking production, deliveries, and installations against project schedules.
• Capable of troubleshooting on-site technical issues and proposing practical solutions quickly.
• Able to lead technical coordination meetings, site walkthroughs, and mock-up reviews.
