Job summary

HUMAN-AI-Z Nexus Technology seeks an experienced Technical Manager to oversee all technical aspects of luxury interior design projects for high-end clients in Dubai. You will develop and review drawings, production packs, and documentation with the Technical Department.

You will coordinate with Production and Site teams to ensure fabrication follows design intent, resolve technical queries, and maintain Share Point document control.

Qualifications

• Experience in interior fit-out and bespoke joinery production.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp or similar.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Detail-oriented, systematic, multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate technical drawings and production packs.
• Coordinate with Production to communicate technical details and ensure clarity prior to fabrication.
• Coordinate with Site Execution team to support installation and resolve technical queries.
• Review project drawings, BOQs, material specs, and shop drawings for discrepancies.
• Provide technical clarifications to Project Managers, Production, and Site Teams to avoid delays.
• Participate in technical meetings to discuss challenges, material options, and fabrication solutions.
• Maintain and share drawings and documents via Share Point or other document control systems.
• Support value engineering with practical, cost-effective production-friendly solutions.
• Verify material selections, dimensions, and construction details before release to production.
• Assist with mock-ups, sample approvals, and prototype reviews with the production team.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and timelines.

Our client is a highly regarded company delivering ultra-high-end interior design, luxury retail pop-ups, and bespoke branded environments. The company works with some of the worlds most prestigious luxury brands, translating creative concepts into flawless, buildable realities.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Technical Manager to manage the complete technical aspects for the projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Technical Department to prepare accurate technical drawings, detailed production packs, and project-related documentation.
• Liaise effectively with the Production Team to ensure all technical details are clearly communicated and understood prior to fabrication.
• Coordinate with the Site Execution Team when required to support installation, resolve technical queries, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Review project drawings, BOQs, material specifications, and shop drawings to identify discrepancies or missing information.
• Provide technical clarifications to Project Managers, Production, and Site Teams to avoid delays or rework.
• Participate in technical meetings to discuss project challenges, material alternatives, and fabrication solutions.
• Ensure all drawings and documents are maintained, updated, and shared through Share Point or other document control systems.
• Support value engineering initiatives by proposing practical, cost-effective, and production-friendly solutions.
• Verify material selections, dimensions, and construction details before production release.
• Assist with mock-ups, sample approvals, and prototype reviews alongside the production team.
• Ensure all technical deliverables meet the company's quality standards and are submitted within the required timelines.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Strong technical understanding of interior fit-out, joinery, metal, acrylic, and retail/FF&E fabrication processes.
• Proficiency in Auto CAD, Solid Works, Sketch Up, or similar technical drawing and 3D modelling software.
• Ability to interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills to work with multiple internal teams.
• Detail-oriented, systematic, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in retail fit-out, luxury interior design, or bespoke joinery production is highly preferred.
