Job summary

Black Pearl Consult in Dubai seeks an experienced Technical Head Joinery & Interior Fit-Out to lead the drafting function for joinery and interior fit-out projects, producing detailing, shop drawings, and production drawings.

You will manage a drafting team, ensure accuracy, coordinate with operations and project teams, and support project execution from design through installation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in joinery and interior fit-out drafting.
• Proven ability to produce detailed shop and production drawings.
• Solid understanding of joinery materials, manufacturing, and installation requirements.
• Knowledge of interior fit-out standards and specifications.
• Experience coordinating between design, production and site teams.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Head Joinery & Interior Fit-Out to lead the technical drafting function for joinery and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in joinery detailing shop drawings production drawings and technical documentation required for manufacturing and site execution.

The role requires a technically strong professional who can manage a drafting team ensure accuracy of drawings coordinate with operations and project teams and support smooth project execution from design approval through production and installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead supervise and manage the drafting team including workload allocation and daily task planning.
• Review prepare and approve detailed shop drawings production drawings and joinery documentation.
• Ensure all technical drawings are accurate complete and compliant with project requirements.
• Coordinate with operations managers project teams production teams and site teams for project alignment.
• Monitor drafting progress and provide regular updates on team productivity and project status.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings according to project schedules.
• Review technical drawings for constructability detailing accuracy and manufacturing requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to draftsmen on joinery detailing materials and production processes.
• Maintain quality standards and ensure drawings meet joinery and fit-out specifications.
• Support continuous improvement of drafting processes and documentation standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in joinery and interior fit-out drafting.
• Strong experience in joinery detailing shop drawings and production drawings.
• Good understanding of joinery materials manufacturing processes and installation requirements.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out construction standards and specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Knowledge of Revit and/or SketchUp is an advantage.
• Ability to review coordinate and manage technical drawings.
• Experience leading and supervising a team of draftsmen.
• Strong communication and email skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver drawings within deadlines.
• Experience working with joinery manufacturers or interior fit-out contractors.
• Background in luxury residential hospitality commercial or retail fit-out projects.
• Understanding of production processes including fabrication material selection and site installation.
• Experience coordinating between design production and site execution teams.
