Job summary

ARX is seeking a Senior Technical Coordinator to support multidisciplinary engineering and design activities on infrastructure, transport, buildings, and complex civil projects in the UAE. You will coordinate inputs between project managers, discipline engineers, BIM teams, contractors, and clients, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in technical coordination, design coordination, or technical-office roles.
• Experience on infrastructure, transport, buildings, bridges, tunnels, or complex civil projects.
• Ability to manage interfaces between civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and BIM teams.
• Awareness of UAE authority requirements (Dubai Municipality, RTA, DEWA, Trakhees).
• Knowledge of BIM/CAD coordination and CDE platforms (ACONEX, Autodesk Construction Cloud, SharePoint).
• MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint; MS Project or Primavera P6 is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical inputs, design deliverables, review comments, RFIs, and submittals across discipline teams.
• Support Project and Design Managers in aligning submissions with scope, contract, and programme.
• Act as coordination link between discipline teams, BIM/CAD, document control, and external parties.
• Track design actions, technical queries, approvals, and deliverables through to closure.
• Help prepare and check technical documentation: design reports, method statements, tender docs, BOQs, minutes.
• Attend design reviews, client meetings, and progress reviews; record decisions and owners.
• Identify conflicts, gaps, and missing information; follow up until resolved.
• Support interface coordination across civil, structural, architectural, MEP, and specialist disciplines.
• Work with the BIM team on model review inputs, clashes, and CDE workflows.
• Maintain technical trackers: deliverable register, comment-response log, action/risk registers.
• Support progress reporting by monitoring milestones, submission dates, approvals, and dependencies.
• Check document completeness, technical consistency, revision status, and reference accuracy.
