Job summary

D4 Insight seeks an experienced Tech Lead to provide technical leadership to development teams across multiple initiatives. You will drive project planning, governance, and best practices, shaping roadmaps from ideation to POC/RFP, and coordinating with business, IT, and external vendors.

Role requires deep Java expertise, strong SDLC understanding, and cloud/AWS/Azure/GCP familiarity, with exposure to React and digital transformation in financial services.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and modern development practices.
• Strong technical background in Java and ability to lead technical discussions.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and familiarity with DevOps practices.
• Exposure to React.js or other modern frontend frameworks is a strong plus.
• Financial services experience, particularly digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams.
• Establish project charters, roadmaps, and stage gates across ideation, discovery, feasibility, and POC/RFP phases.
• Run delivery governance cadences including steering committees and working groups.
• Maintain RAID and dependency views and ensure timely escalation.
• Guide discovery backlogs, facilitate workshops, and converge on prioritized epics/features.
• Shape POC hypotheses, success metrics, evaluation rubrics, and RFP packs.
• Identify technical, operational, data/privacy, and third-party risks.
• Collaborate with business units, IT teams, and external vendors.
