Job summary
D4 Insight is seeking an experienced Tech Lead to provide technical leadership, drive project planning and ensure best practices across program initiatives in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, UAE. You will guide development teams through ideation, discovery and delivery, shaping POC hypotheses and RFP packs.
The role requires hands-on Java expertise, strong Agile/SDLC knowledge and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Collaboration with vendors and business units is essential.
Qualifications
- Experience leading software development teams in structured delivery models.
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and modern development practices.
- Proficient in Java with ability to drive technical discussions.
- Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to React.js or other frontend frameworks is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to development teams.
- Establish project charters, roadmaps and stage gates across ideation, discovery, feasibility and POC/RFP phases.
- Run delivery governance cadences including steering committees and working groups.
- Maintain RAID and dependency views and ensure timely escalation.
- Guide discovery backlogs, facilitate workshops and converge on prioritized epics/features.
- Shape POC hypotheses, success metrics and evaluation rubrics for decision gates.
- Identify technical, operational, data/privacy and third-party risks.
- Collaborate with business units, IT teams and external vendors.
