Job summary

Helm Grow, partnered with a growing tanker fleet operator in Dubai, seeks a Technical Superintendent to own a designated group of tanker vessels and manage their day-to-day technical needs. You’ll work closely with Chief Engineers and Masters on board and with the wider operations team ashore to plan maintenance, dry-docking, budgets, class and flag requirements, and PSC compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chief Engineer or equivalent senior role with shore-based technical vessel management.
• Proven ability to manage maintenance, dry-docking, budgets, and regulatory compliance.
• Dubai-based role with UAE/GCC exposure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day technical management of a designated group of tanker vessels.
• Coordinate with Chief Engineers, Masters, and shore operations for safe, compliant operations.
• Manage planned maintenance, dry-dock planning, and class/flag requirements.
