Job summary

Achieve Test Prep is seeking a Technical Superintendent in Dubai to support a reputable shipowner in the maritime sector. This role emphasizes maintaining technical standards across a fleet, overseeing maintenance, and ensuring safe vessel operations.

Qualifications

• Tanker seagoing experience as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer with minimum COC Class 2 or 3.
• Alternatively, two years of shore-based experience handling oil or bunker tankers.
• Strong understanding of tanker vessel systems, maintenance, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure assigned vessels meet required technical standards and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain and manage vessel certificates and documentation.
• Implement and monitor the planned maintenance system effectively.
• Plan and supervise dry-docking projects and major repair activities.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair works with shipyards and service providers.
