Key Responsibilities
- Ensure assigned vessels meet required technical standards, performance benchmarks, and regulatory compliance
- Maintain and manage vessel certificates and documentation in a systematic and timely manner
- Implement and monitor the company planned maintenance system effectively
- Prepare, arrange, and manage class, statutory, and other mandatory vessel surveys
- Plan, manage, and supervise dry-docking projects and major repair activities
- Monitor vessel condition and coordinate maintenance and repair works with shipyards and service providers
- Review crew technical performance and promote continuous improvement standards
- Prepare, manage, and control technical budgets for assigned vessels
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth technical operations
Ideal Profile
- Tanker seagoing experience as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer with minimum COC Class 2 or 3
- Alternatively, at least two years of shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent handling oil or bunker tankers
- Strong understanding of tanker vessel systems, maintenance, and regulatory requirements
- High level of integrity and professional conduct
- Strong leadership, teamwork, management, and communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
