Job summary

TalentRecruit Software Private Limited in Dubai is seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to provide first-line IT infrastructure support, assisting senior engineers with on-premises and Microsoft Azure environments while monitoring systems to ensure uptime.

You will perform routine maintenance, assist with AD user management, patching, backups, and basic configuration tasks, and contribute to documentation and cloud-related projects.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or technical support.
• Basic understanding of Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, or Microsoft Azure.
• Willingness to learn enterprise infrastructure and cloud technologies.
• Good troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of ITIL concepts is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and availability of servers and infrastructure systems.
• Perform routine server health checks and report issues to senior engineers.
• Assist with user account administration in Active Directory.
• Support routine operating system patching and updates.
• Assist with server builds, deployments, and basic configuration tasks.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of Windows and Linux servers.
• Support backup operations and verify backup completion.
• Update technical documentation and operational records.
• Escalate complex incidents to senior engineers or managed service providers.
• Assist with monitoring Microsoft Azure resources.
• Perform basic administrative tasks for Azure Virtual Machines and storage services under supervision.

Job Purpose

The Junior Systems Engineer provides first-line support for the organization's IT infrastructure and assists senior engineers in maintaining on-premises and Microsoft Azure environments. Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Support
