Job summary

Fakeeh University Hospital in Dubai invites a hands-on Senior System Administrator to manage enterprise IT infrastructure and drive modernization initiatives. You will oversee Windows and Linux servers, AD, DNS/DHCP, cloud services, security controls, backups, and automation.

Ideal candidate has 8+ years of IT infrastructure experience, strong PowerShell scripting, Azure familiarity, and a willingness to participate in 24x7 on-call support when required. On-site role in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of enterprise IT infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on experience in mission-critical or large environments is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Azure, PowerShell, cybersecurity, automation and AI infrastructure is highly desirable.
• Willingness to participate in 24×7 support/on-call activities when required.

Responsibilities

• Manage Windows and Linux servers, AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO, patching, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Support Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online and SharePoint Online; assist Azure services, hybrid identity and cloud migrations.
• Implement and maintain security controls including MFA, Conditional Access and Defender.
• Oversee server/storage/infrastructure and network/voice systems.
• Ensure backups, DR testing, replication and capacity planning.
• Automate infrastructure tasks via PowerShell and APIs; monitor operations.
• Support AI/GPU infrastructure deployments and AI workloads.
• Coordinate with vendors and teams; maintain documentation and architecture diagrams.

Key Responsibilities & Technical Skills

• Windows & Linux: Administration of Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, patching, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Microsoft 365 & Cloud: Strong hands-on experience with Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online and SharePoint Online. Support Azure services, hybrid identity, Microsoft 365 administration and cloud migration initiatives.
• Microsoft Security: MFA, Conditional Access, Defender, device compliance, endpoint security and privileged access controls.
• Server/Storage/ Data Domain infrastructure.
• Network and Voice
• Backup & DR: Backup infrastructure, disaster recovery, replication, capacity planning and DR testing.
• Automation & Modern Infrastructure: PowerShell scripting, API-based automation, infrastructure monitoring and operational process automation.
• AI Infrastructure: Support GPU-enabled infrastructure, AI/ML workloads, virtualization for AI and enterprise AI platform deployments.
• Cybersecurity & Compliance: Vulnerability remediation, system hardening, security monitoring, audit support and implementation of infrastructure security controls.
• Infrastructure Projects: Participate in technology refresh, cloud migration, system upgrades, integrations and infrastructure modernization projects.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams and coordinate with vendors and internal teams.

Requirements
