Job summary

Core Laboratories in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to design, implement, secure, and support enterprise Windows infrastructure across regional and global environments. The role covers on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud systems, ensuring availability, security, performance and regulatory compliance of Windows servers and endpoint platforms.

You will manage AD/Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, GPO, file services, backup and DR, and develop PowerShell scripts for automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5+ years enterprise Windows administration experience and desktop experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and desktop, Active Directory, Entra ID, and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and file services.
• Manage hybrid identity services using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Support virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Implement endpoint and server security controls and participate in incident response.
• Design and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Develop PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting.
• Provide escalation-level Help Desk and regional support.
• Maintain documentation and drive continuous improvement.
• Support Desktops Windows 10/11 in various locations remotely and on premise
• Support IT functions such as printing, desktop imaging and rebuilding and other desktop duties as required.
