Job summary

Anix Global in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to deliver enterprise infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability, performance and security. You will install and maintain Windows and Linux systems, configure HA, and manage virtualization with Hyper-V and Citrix.

You will also configure networks, manage SAN storage, and provide senior-level support for complex infrastructure issues, leveraging EMC/IBM storage and automation tools to optimize operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; Masters is a plus.
• 8+ years of experience delivering large Enterprise solutions.
• Experience with Windows and UNIX/Linux environments.
• Experience with storage solutions based on EMC and IBM.
• Proven experience in LAN/WAN networks.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring solutions.
• Experience with automation deployment tools like MS Configuration Manager and Chef.
• Oracle database installation/configuration is a plus.
• Good SQL knowledge, preferably Oracle.
• Big data infrastructure experience is a big plus.
• Certifications: MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, Cloudera, Virtualization, Security+.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Systems Infrastructure Specialist to deliver mission critical application and ensure the highest levels of availability, performance and security.
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems based on Windows and Linux platforms, critical application software and system management tools.
• Configure and manage High Availability Solutions (Clustering, Load Balancing...)
• Install and manage Virtual solutions based on Hyper-V and Citrix platform
• Configure and manage network devices and protocols (vLan, routing, Access lists ...)
• Perform activities related to install, configure and managing SAN devices and fiber switches
• Providing third-level support to the technical and operational, thereby facilitating the diagnosis and resolution of complex infrastructure problems.

Qualification:

• Minimum bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject. Masters is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in delivering large Enterprise solutions.
• Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows, UNIX /Linux based environments.
• Experience with installing and administering Storage Solutions based on EMC and IBM vendor.
• Proven experience configuring and implementing LAN/WAN networks.

• Experience with "Automation deployment solutions" MS Configuration Manager, Chef...
• Working experience in installing and configuring of Oracle databases is a plus.
