Job summary

Gardinia Contracting, the integrated construction arm behind Azizi Developments in Dubai, is seeking a Swimming Pool Section Manager to lead pool construction across our premier developments. You will oversee civil/structural works, waterproofing, tiling, filtration, and MEP installations on real estate projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years in swimming pool construction; 3–4 years in a managerial role.
• Experience delivering swimming pool packages on UAE real estate/villa/community projects.
• Strong knowledge of waterproofing, filtration/circulation design, and pool finishing materials.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and manage all swimming pool construction works (civil/structural, waterproofing, tiling, filtration, and MEP).
• Review pool design drawings, BOQs, and specs to ensure accurate on-site execution.
• Coordinate across civil, MEP, architectural, and landscape teams.
• Monitor subcontractors and vendors for quality, safety, and schedule.
• Prepare work programs, manpower plans, and material procurement schedules.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks against drawings.
• Oversee pool equipment installation (pumps, filters, heaters, dosing, automation).
• Liaise with consultants and client reps during inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Ensure compliance with UAE municipality, civil defense, and authority requirements.
• Maintain documentation: method statements, IR logs, submittals, test reports, progress reports.

As a Swimming Pool Section Manager, you will oversee the planning and execution of swimming pool construction activities across assigned real estate development projects in the UAE, ensuring all works are delivered in line with approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. The role calls for strong technical expertise in pool structural works, filtration and circulation systems, waterproofing, and pool MEP installations, along with the ability to coordinate effectively across multi-disciplinary project teams in a fast-paced developer/contracting environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, supervise, and manage all swimming pool construction works including civil/structural, waterproofing, tiling, filtration, and mechanical/electrical installations
• Review and interpret pool design drawings, BOQs, and specifications to ensure accurate execution on site
• Coordinate with civil, MEP, architectural, and landscape teams to ensure clash-free and timely installation of pool works
• Monitor subcontractor and vendor performance, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and program requirements
• Prepare and track work programs, manpower plans, and material procurement schedules for pool packages
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks on waterproofing, tiling, and mechanical installations against approved shop drawings
• Oversee pool equipment installation including pumps, filters, heaters, chlorination/dosing systems, and pool automation
• Liaise with consultants and client representatives during inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover
• Ensure compliance with UAE municipality, civil defense, and authority requirements for swimming pool construction and safety
• Maintain accurate documentation: method statements, inspection request (IR) logs, material submittals, testing/commissioning reports, and progress reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in swimming pool construction, with at least 3–4 years in a managerial/section head capacity
• Proven experience delivering swimming pool packages on real estate/villa/community development projects in the UAE
• Strong knowledge of pool waterproofing systems, filtration/circulation design, and pool finishing materials
• Familiarity with UAE municipality and civil defense approval processes for swimming pools
