Job summary

Bâoli Dubai is seeking an experienced Sushi Chef to craft and plate sushi and sashimi confections with precision in a vibrant beach club setting in Dubai. You will work closely with the Head Sushi Chef to deliver consistency and top-quality presentations during peak hours.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in high-end hospitality and strong knife skills, knowledge of HACCP, and the ability to maintain flavor and texture under pressure while upholding hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as a Sushi Chef in hotels/restaurants/beach clubs/high-end venues.
• Strong sushi, sashimi and Japanese knife techniques.
• Maintain quality and consistency in high-volume, fast-paced service.
• Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene (HACCP).
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends and holidays.

We are looking for a skilled Sushi Chef to prepare and execute our sushi and sashimi offering with precision and consistency

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare sushi, sashimi, and related dishes to Bâoli's recipe, quality, and presentation standards.
• Handle and store fish and seafood in line with food safety and hygiene standards.
• Maintain consistency and speed during high-volume peak periods.
• Support mise en place, stock rotation, and section setup/breakdown.
• Work closely with the Head Sushi Chef and kitchen brigade to ensure smooth service execution.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant sushi section at all times.
• Assist in training junior kitchen staff as needed.

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sushi Chef within hotels, restaurants, beach clubs, or high-end hospitality venues.
• Strong technical skill in sushi, sashimi, and Japanese knife techniques.
• Ability to maintain quality and consistency under high-volume, fast-paced service.
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
