Job summary

Dubai Golf is seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to prepare high-quality sushi and Japanese dishes while upholding strict food safety and presentation standards. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of sushi experience, strong knife skills, and a solid understanding of HACCP.

You will work closely with kitchen and service teams to deliver an outstanding dining experience. In a fast-paced environment, you will contribute to menu development and ensure cost control while maintaining exceptional guest

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of sushi chef experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and fish cutting techniques.
• Familiarity with food safety and HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi, sashimi, maki rolls, nigiri, and other Japanese dishes per recipes.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and preparation of seafood.
• Maintain high quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Follow HACCP, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Keep workstation clean and kitchen organized.
• Support menu development and introduce new sushi concepts.
• Minimize food waste and help control costs.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service teams for smooth operations.
