Key Responsibilities
- Monitor permanent and alarm‑activated CCTV systems from the resort command centre.
- Manually control cameras to follow incidents, suspicious behaviour, access breaches, and emergency situations.
- Review the digital recording cycle and verify that CCTV footage is captured, retained, and handled correctly.
- Ensure video recording activities comply with applicable Dubai legal and security requirements.
- Detect incidents through CCTV, fire alarms, panic alarms, and other electronic security systems.
- Assess developing situations and coordinate the appropriate operational response.
- Support incident commanders during emergencies, crises, evacuations, and major security events.
- Monitor fire control panels and the fire alarm voice evacuation system.
- Process evacuation notices, warning alerts, and public announcements when authorized.
- Operate the command centre radio base and support resort‑wide communication between security and operational teams.
- Report faults or failures affecting CCTV, access control, recording equipment, or the SiPass Security Management System.
- Coordinate technical fault reporting with Security Management, Facilities, and approved service providers.
- Liaise with Dubai Police and other authorized agencies regarding access to recorded incidents.
- Retrieve, review, preserve, and present CCTV evidence for investigations.
- Assist Security Managers with evidence obtained through CCTV, access control, key management, and related security systems.
- Conduct access control reviews and CCTV audits in support of the overall hotel security plan.
- Use the Key Traka Management System and other approved electronic security platforms.
- Maintain accurate incident logs, surveillance reports, evidence records, and operational documentation.
- Follow confidentiality requirements when handling recordings, guest information, colleague information, and investigation material.
- Take operational charge when the Surveillance Team Leader is unavailable.
- Use sound judgment and initiative during routine operations and critical incidents.
- Provide direction to Resort Security Officers when necessary to support coordinated incident management.
- Monitor officer performance and help maintain discipline, procedures, and service standards.
- Complete duties assigned by the Surveillance Team Leader, Duty Manager, Security Directors, or Vice President of Security.
- Keep the command centre and Security Office secure, organized, and ready for continuous operation.
Ideal Profile
- Secondary‑level education or equivalent qualification.
- Valid CCTV SIRA License is mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working as a CCTV Operator.
- At least 3 years of security or surveillance experience within a four‑star or five‑star hotel.
- Previous Hospitality experience is strongly preferred.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Practical experience with CCTV control rooms, digital recording systems, access control, and alarm monitoring.
- Ability to remain focused during extended surveillance periods.
- Strong observation skills and confidence identifying unusual or suspicious activity.
- Able to evaluate incidents quickly and communicate clear instructions.
- Familiarity with emergency response, fire alarms, evacuation procedures, and radio communication.
- Capable of preparing accurate reports and maintaining evidence integrity.
- Professional discretion when handling sensitive footage and confidential investigations.
- Comfortable coordinating with police, emergency responders, facilities teams, and hotel management.
- Able to work independently and assume responsibility when supervisors are unavailable.
- Willing to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
