Qualifications

• High school certificate or equivalent.
• 3–5 years' experience in security operations or CCTV monitoring.
• Valid UAE SIRA CCTV Operator Licence.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Excellent observation and attention to detail.
• Strong incident reporting and documentation skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment to detect suspicious activity or potential security breaches.
• Monitor restricted areas and ensure authorised access through access control systems, biometric devices, or manual access logs.
• Oversee operation of security systems and promptly report or elevate any technical faults or system malfunctions.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents, including theft, trespassing, disturbances, and emergencies.
• Coordinate with on-site security personnel, management, and emergency services when required.
• Support emergency response procedures, including evacuations, fire alarms, medical incidents, and other emergency situations.
• Ensure all emergency procedures are followed in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
• Assist in training new CCTV Operators and security personnel on security procedures, emergency protocols, and the correct usage of surveillance equipment.

Job description

We are seeking a vigilant and detail-oriented Security CCTV Operator to join our security operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring CCTV systems and security equipment, identifying potential security risks, responding to incidents, and supporting the safety and security of guests, employees, and property.

This role requires excellent observation skills, the ability to remain calm under pressure, and a strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment to detect suspicious activity or potential security breaches.
• Monitor restricted areas and ensure authorised access through access control systems, biometric devices, or manual access logs.

• Report any unusual activity, safety concerns, or potential security threats immediately.

Safety & Compliance

• Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, visitors, and company property.
• Provide guidance and support to guests and employees during emergency situations.
• Ensure compliance with UAE security regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
• Support regular inspections and system checks to maintain operational readiness.

Training & Support

• Assist in training new CCTV Operators and security personnel on security procedures, emergency protocols, and the correct usage of surveillance equipment.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by management to support the efficient operation of the Security Department.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in security operations or CCTV monitoring.
• Valid UAE SIRA CCTV Operator Licence.
