Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Procurement Consultant with strong hands-on Oracle ERP/SCM experience to support day-to-day procurement and supply chain operations. This role focuses on using Oracle effectively to maintain accurate data, support purchasing activities and leverage reports for insights.

You will work with procurement, supply chain and finance stakeholders to ensure timely system updates, process improvements and clear operational insights for the Head of Supply

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using Oracle ERP/SCM in an operational environment.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Experience creating regular management summaries from Oracle data.

Responsibilities

• Support daily procurement and supply chain activities within Oracle ERP/SCM.
• Create, update and maintain accurate procurement and supply chain records.
• Support activities related to purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier information and purchasing workflows.
• Monitor open purchase orders, supplier deliveries and outstanding requirements.
• Help internal users adopt and use Oracle consistently and effectively.
• Identify data gaps, inconsistencies and process issues impacting procurement or supply chain operations.
• Use existing Oracle reports, dashboards and analytical tools to monitor operational performance.
• Review and interpret procurement and supply chain data, identifying trends, exceptions and bottlenecks.
• Track KPIs such as procurement lead times, PO status, supplier performance and delivery progress.
• Prepare regular reports and management summaries for the Head of Supply Chain.
• Translate operational data into clear, actionable business insights.
• Work closely with procurement, supply chain, finance and other internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely system updates.
• Support continuous improvement in system usage, reporting and operational processes.

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain & Procurement Consultant with strong hands-on knowledge of Oracle ERP / Oracle SCM to support day-to-day procurement and supply chain operations. This is an operational role focused on using Oracle effectively within procurement and supply chain, maintaining accurate data, supporting purchasing activities, and leveraging existing Oracle reports and dashboards to provide meaningful insights to the Head of Supply Chain. This is not an Oracle implementation or technical development role. We are looking for someone who has used Oracle extensively as part of their day-to-day procurement or supply chain responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional experience within procurement and/or supply chain operations.
• Strong hands-on experience using Oracle ERP / Oracle SCM in an operational environment.
• Good understanding of procurement processes, purchasing workflows, supplier management and supply chain operations.
• Experience using Oracle standard reports, dashboards and built-in analytics.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and identify meaningful trends or issues.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving capabilities.
• Comfortable working closely with senior supply chain stakeholders and presenting clear operational insights.

Preferred Experience

• Experience within manufacturing, aerospace, defence or another complex industrial environment.
• Exposure to procurement and supply chain KPI reporting.
• Experience supporting business users with Oracle adoption and day-to-day system usage.
• Experience identifying operational inefficiencies and improving data quality or reporting processes.
