The Supply Chain Automation Leader will shape and execute automation and AI programs across Amazon 's AMET supply chain network. The role combines supply chain expertise, cloud technology, software engineering collaboration, technical program management, and organizational capability building. The position is responsible for identifying high-value automation opportunities across planning, warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment, then converting them into scalable technical solutions using AWS, SCOT, analytics, AI, and machine learning technologies. The leader will manage the full lifecycle of complex technical programs while also developing internal automation capability among senior supply chain leaders and specialists. Success will depend on delivering measurable savings in time and cost while improving operational reliability, scalability, and customer experience.
Candidates should hold a bachelor 's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline. At least seven years of supply chain operations experience is required, with substantial exposure to automation and technology-enabled transformation. Candidates should have a proven record of leading complex automation projects and a strong understanding of supply chain processes including planning, warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment. At least five years of technical product or program management experience is expected, together with significant experience working directly with engineering teams. The role also requires at least three years of software development experience and strong familiarity with technical program management practices involving software engineering organizations. Practical experience with AWS cloud services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda is important. Candidates should be comfortable managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, critical paths, release coordination, and quality across large technical programs. A master 's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred. Experience with Amazon supply chain systems, AFT, SCOT, Lean methodologies, data analytics, Amazon QuickSight, and AWS AI or machine learning services is highly valuable. AWS professional certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Machine Learning credentials, would provide additional value.
