The Technical Program Manager will combine software, analytics, automation, and program management capabilities to improve how Amazon operations are planned, measured, and executed. The position will lead initiatives involving GenAI, data engineering, machine learning, dashboards, predictive analytics, and warehouse technology. A central part of the role is converting operational challenges into practical technical solutions. This includes understanding business requirements, designing scalable tools, coordinating implementation with technical and non-technical teams, and measuring whether delivered solutions produce meaningful operational improvements. The position also provides end-to-end ownership of technology projects, from requirements and solution design through implementation, stakeholder adoption, reporting, and continuous optimization.
Candidates should hold a bachelor 's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related discipline and have at least three years of relevant experience combining technology, analytics, program delivery, and operational improvement. Strong Python and SQL capabilities are important for this position. Candidates should also have practical experience with data visualization and reporting tools, ETL development, data science techniques, and process automation. Experience implementing technology solutions within warehouse, logistics, supply chain, fulfillment, or another operational environment will be particularly valuable. Applicants should understand how to move from business requirements to technical design and then through implementation, adoption, measurement, and continuous improvement. At least three years of experience working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams is expected, along with experience using data and metrics to define and implement process improvements. Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge, including Pivot Tables and VLookUps, is required. Candidates with experience driving end-to-end delivery, presenting results to senior leadership, managing multiple stakeholders, building processes, maintaining schedules, and coordinating complex projects will be well suited to the role.
