Job summary

Al Ghurair Investment is seeking a Bodyshop Estimator to lead workshop operations in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering 100% production output in line with budget while maintaining high quality standards.

You will manage staff, enforce safety, and ensure efficient communication across teams to maximize workflow efficiency. The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering with 3–7 years in bodyshop estimation within the automotive industry, and a proven track

• Strong estimation and costing abilities for bodyshop projects.
• Good understanding of automotive repair processes and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production to meet 100% budget targets and quality standards.
• Ensure staff follow work standards, specifications and timelines.
• Maintain discipline, safety, and clean workshop environment per rules.
• Coordinate effective communication across the workshop for smooth operations.
• Drive customer satisfaction by minimizing rework and delays.
• Plan resources including manpower, tools, and infrastructure to support operations.
• Review performance and provide development opportunities for staff.

Responsibilities

Ensuring output of top-quality work executed at maximum efficiency from workshop to achieve 100 % of budget

Ensure 100 % production and output to achieve the budget

• Ensure staffs execution of assigned jobs according to established work standards, specification and required time.
• Maintain the discipline, safe and clean environment thru strict implementation of company rules, regulations and procedures.
• Ensure effective communication with seniors and subordinate staff for smooth operation of workshop floor.
• Ensure quality work for enhanced customer satisfaction and retention by minimizing repeat jobs hence increasing total workshop efficiency.
• Determine and provide resources needed to support the operations, manpower, infrastructure, tools etc).
• Review employee performance on regular basis and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide moral support for developing staff, including overseeing new employee on boarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

• 3 to 7 years of experience as a Bodyshop Estimator in Automobile Industry.
