Job summary

ADNOC Offshore - Abu Dhabi National Oil Company is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee maintenance and refurbishment of static mechanical equipment. The role involves supervising repair work, testing refurbished equipment, and ensuring compliance with ADNOC OFFSHORE Standards and API/ASME/ANSI guidelines.

You will update the CMMS with equipment history, support major overhauls, coordinate testing, and contribute to cost-effective maintenance activities while training UAE Nationals.

Responsibilities

• Updates refurbished equipment database and history in CMMS for equipment and accessories, ensuring timely, cost-effective maintenance targets.
• Provides support for upgrade/refurbishment of static mechanical equipment during major overhauls or new installations; includes inspection and repair supervision.
• Tests repaired equipment in compliance with ADNOC Offshore standards and API/ASME/ANSI/BIS guidelines.
• Provides technical support to assets for repair scope, contract prep, negotiation, cost reporting, and maintenance strategy.
• Coordinates repairing and testing of static equipment and accessories; generates management reports.
• Develops repaired equipment specifications in CMMS for the RDMT Team; supervises UAE National on-job training.
• Complies with ADNOC Offshore commissioning/inspection/maintenance and CMMS records for repairs or upgrades.
• Ensures work practices comply with safety regulations; reports unsafe practices.
• Supervises onshore refurbishment of static equipment and accessories from offshore complexes at Mussafah when required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by Section Leader, including site visits and reporting on plant and equipment; adheres to HSE policies.

Job description

• Provides specialist services to offshore repair services, which include Inspection, supervision of repair works and carries out testing of refurbished Static / Mechanical Equipment and their accessories
• Provides support to meet out the goals set for Maintenance Engineering Team.
• Reviews the maintenance and equipment records for static mechanical equipment, which requires the upgrading work or their accessory enhancement.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Principal Accountabilities:

• Updates refurbished equipment database and history in CMMS for the equipment and their accessories. Ensures the timely and cost effective achievement of targets for the Maintenance
• Division activities.
• Provides effective support services for upgrade/refurbishment of Static Mechanical equipment during major overhauls or new installations which include Inspection, supervision of repair
• work and carry out testing of repaired equipment in compliance to ADNOC OFFSHORE Maintenance policy and Standards, such as ADNOC OFFSHORE Standards, International Codes & Recommended practices of API/ASME/ANSI/BIS, etc.
• Provides technical support to assets, to repair the static equipment respect to scope of work, contracts preparation and negotiation, cost reporting, maintenance strategy and equipment
• selection.
• Co-ordinates the repairing and testing of static equipment and or their accessories and generating necessary management reports.
• Provides technical supports for developing repaired equipment specification data base on CMMS to RDMT Team. Supervises and supports on job training for UAE Nationals.
• Complies the ADNOC OFFSHORE department’s Commissioning/Inspection/Maintenance and CMMS records to repair or upgrade the static equipment or its accessories or spares.
• Ensures that work practices comply with safety regulations, such as working stations, files, records are kept in a safe manner. Reports unsafe practice to the concern.
• Supervises the onshore refurbishment of static equipment and or their accessories sent from offshore complexes at Mussafah repair workshop as and when required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by Section Leader such as site visit for preparing necessary reports and other information on plant and equipment etc.
• Works in line with HSE policy, and ensures awareness and compliance of HSE rules and regulations by subordinates.
