Job summary

WorleyParsons Arabia Limited Co is seeking a Senior Lead Static Equipment Engineer in Abu Dhabi to drive engineering for heavy equipment across FEED, EPC and detailed design phases. The role requires leadership of a discipline team and collaboration with multiple engineering interfaces to deliver compliant solutions.

The candidate must have 15+ years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical, with experience in GCC projects and strong knowledge of ASME/API/TEMA/NACE codes, ensuring quality and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical, with 5+ years in GCC region.
• Experience in FEED and EPC phases with major projects.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, API, TEMA, NACE and related codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage static equipment engineering across FEED EPC and detailed engineering Phases.
• Provide technical leadership for equipment datasheets, specs, and vendor docs.
• Coordinate with Piping, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation and Procurement for integration.
• Review vendor drawings, calculations, manufacturing procedures, and inspection requirements.
• Support constructability reviews, value engineering, and cost optimization.
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, and technical meetings with clients and vendors.
• Monitor progress to ensure deliverables meet schedules, quality, and HSE standards.
• Provide guidance and supervision to a team of specialists and engineers.
• Interface with clients, licensors, suppliers and stakeholders to resolve issues.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all static equipment engineering activities during FEED EPC and detailed engineering phases of the project
• Provide technical leadership for the design specification and procurement of static equipment including pressure vessels columns heat exchangers tanks separators filters reactors and package equipment
• Develop and review equipment datasheets specifications material requisitions technical bid evaluations and vendor documentation
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards project specifications and applicable international codes and standards such as ASME API TEMA and ASTM
• Coordinate with Process Piping Mechanical Civil Electrical Instrumentation and Procurement disciplines to ensure effective integration of static equipment requirements
• Review and approve vendor drawings calculations manufacturing procedures and inspection requirements
• Support constructability reviews value engineering studies and cost optimization initiatives throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in design reviews HAZOP constructability workshops and technical meetings with clients vendors and contractors
• Monitor engineering progress and ensure deliverables are completed in accordance with project schedules quality standards and HSE requirements
• Provide technical guidance mentoring and supervision to a team of Specialists Senior Engineers and Engineers
• Interface effectively with clients licensors suppliers and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support successful project execution

Minimum Requirements

• A bachelor s degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen 15 years of relevant experience in the Oil amp Gas or Petrochemical industry including a minimum of five 5 years preferred in the GCC region
• Must have at least five 5 years of experience in a similar position on major Oil amp Gas or Petrochemical projects managing a team of Specialists Senior Engineers and Engineers ADNOC amp Offshore project experience is preferred PMC experiences are preferrable
• Experience in FEED amp EPC Phases is required Strong knowledge of international standards and codes including ASME Section VIII API 650 API 620 API 661 API 660 TEMA and NACE requirements
• Experience in technical bid evaluations vendor management and fabrication oversight for static equipment
• Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and multicultural project environments
